Vicky Sparrow

Vicky Sparrow is a poet and an AHRC-funded PhD researcher at Birkbeck, University of London, living in Nottingham. Her thesis considers the status of politics and law within the experimental poetry of the British poet-activist, Anna Mendelssohn. Vicky also teaches English at Birkbeck and serves as Reviews Editor for the Journal of British and Irish Innovative Poetry. Her poems can be found in Front Horse, Para.Text, Intercapillary Space, datableed and Litmus; her first pamphlet Notes to Selves (2016) is published by Zarf Editions. She has read at poetry readings around the country, including at Sussex Poetry Festival, Surrey Poetry Festival and The Other Room, Manchester.
