October Reading Group

‘A New Set of Possibilities’? Join us on Weds 24th October (5.30-7pm, NEWN26A) to discuss Fourth Person Singular by Nuar Alsadir.

Nuar Alsadir suggests that ‘a new set of possibilities can unsettle the poetic order’ (’Clown School’, Granta Magazine, 2017, p.9). Jo Dixon (NTU) will lead a discussion of Fourth Person Singular, exploring how Alsadir unsettles the poetic order by disrupting the borders between lyric, fragment, essay, aphorism and the unconscious, and asking what new possibilities might there be for our own writing.
